Who We Are
Gaucho Racing is a team of passionate and talented
students preparing for their professional careers
through ambitious engineering projects and competitions.
Our main focus is Formula SAE Electric, a competition
for which we have to design, manufacture, and fund a
single seater electric race car from scratch. Gaucho
Racing is part of UCSB’s official SAE International
